Talent Plus Assessments Generally
Talent Plus provides consulting services including assessments, data consolidation and analysis for its clients throughout the world. Talent Plus enters into agreements with its clients and provides secure web-based access to its TalentBank ® application to facilitate data collection and analysis based on question-and-answer scenarios. Talent Plus provides to clients a variety of online and person-to-person assessments to be administered to job applicants and current employees to determine their most pervasive characteristics and align them with current and future employment opportunities. A score is ultimately assigned to each assessment. The data entry process is manual and may include questions regarding skills, job experiences, unique employee ids, home and work contact information, current employer information and reasons for considering new employment opportunities.
Collecting Your Personal Information
Assessees will be asked for specific personal information to uniquely identify the candidate or employee, to enable the Talent Plus client to contact the assessee in the future, and to conduct research to refine assessments or to build new ones. Additionally, Talent Plus leverages its corporate web site to capture basic prospect and client information about persons other than assessees. Generally, this information is captured from a new prospective client interested in joining our mailing list or requesting information about our services. Personal information collected by Talent Plus often is limited to e-mail address, First Name, Last Name and Phone Number, but may include other information when needed to provide a service requested by the client or prospect.
Control of Your Personal Information
Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention
Talent Plus will use or disclose personal information only for the reasons it was collected, unless a customer provides consent to use or disclose it for another reason, or law requires it.
Talent Plus Research
Talent Plus periodically conducts research to refine current assessments and to create new ones. Assessee information is aggregated pursuant to this research in ways that do not identify specific, individual assessees.
Security of Your Personal Information
Talent Plus implements commercially accepted security protocols to protect the security of your personal information and honors your choices for its intended use. We use our best efforts to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.
Assessee information is shared ONLY with the client requesting the assessment. For persons other than assesses, personal information is never shared outside the company without your permission. Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access. Talent Plus will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Talent Plus or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Talent Plus, and, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Talent Plus, its Web sites or the public.
Indirectly Captured Information
Talent Plus indirectly collects information pertaining to use of its Web sites. This type of indirectly collected information is gathered through various means, such as an IP address, which is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web.
Sharing of Personal Information with Third Parties
Talent Plus does not share your personal information with third parties other than as follows:
- with your consent, for example, when you agree to our sharing your information with other third parties for their own marketing purposes subject to their separate privacy policies.
- with third party vendors, consultants and other service providers who work for us and need access to your information to do that work. Examples include vendors and service providers who provide assistance with marketing, billing, data analysis, technical support and customer service. Unless described in this Policy, we do not share, sell, rent or trade any of your personal information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
- in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition or dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets to another company.
- We may also share aggregated or de-identified information
Accountability for Onward Transfer
The EU-US Privacy Shield Framework allows the transfer of personal information to a third party, who acts as a service provider or a vendor, if certain steps are taken to assure privacy and security protections. Under these circumstances, we will take all reasonable steps to require any third-party recipient to protect your personal information relevant to the Privacy Shield Framework. In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU individuals received pursuant to the EU-US Privacy Shield, Talent Plus is potentially liable.
Privacy Shield Information
Talent Plus has further committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield complaints to the International Centre for Dispute Resolution/American Arbitration Association (ICDR-AAA), an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the [United States]. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please contact or visit http://go.adr.org/privacyshield.html for more information or to file a complaint. The services of ICDR-AAA are provided at no cost to you. Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Privacy Shield website, you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.
